Prof Sascha Scott participates in panel at the Wellin Museum of Art at Hamilton College

Posted on: Aug. 28, 2018

Prof Sascha Scott was recently invited by the Wellin Museum of Art at Hamilton College to participate in a panel about how faculty might engage with the work of contemporary artist Jeffrey Gibson in the classroom. The panel was organized by the fabulous Michelle Reynolds (M.A.'16), an alumna of our masters program in art history, who is a curatorial assistant at the Wellin. Director and curator at the museum, Tracy Adler, organized a exhibition of Gibson’s latest work, which opens soon. Prof Scott highly recommends visiting the exhibition. The work of art that you see in the second picture is titled “A Very Easy Death” 2015, and is in the collections of the Wellin.
