English PhD and MA students present at The Literature/Film Association Conference

English MA student Noelle Hedgcock and English PhD student John Sanders presented at the annual Literature/Film Association Conference held October 26–29 in Missoula, MT. The conference theme was "Politics, Ethics, and Adaptation." Hedgcock presented a paper titled "Born to be Victorian: Marketing Joan Fontaine in Jane Eyre (1944)," for which she received the 2017 Outstanding Graduate Student Paper Award. Sanders presented a paper, "An Epic Condensed: Warcraft and Issues of Video Game Adaptation."
