Madison Nevin is an MFA candidate in fiction at Syracuse University. She grew up in Bellevue, Washington and received her BA from the University of Washington, where she studied English Literature. Her stories often explore race, identity, and relationships while experimenting with elements of horror, science fiction, and magical realism. She recently worked at the New Yorker magazine as an Editorial Production Associate before leaving to focus on her writing. She is currently at work on her speculative fiction novel Boundless Black.
