The 1st National PAIR-UP Image Processing Workshop is hosted at Syracuse University

The Blatt Imaging Center is hosting the first national PAIR-UP (Partnering to Advance Imaging Research for URM Scientist Program) workshop on image processing. The invited instructor for the 3-day virtual workshop will be Dr. Teng-Leong Chew, Director of the Advanced Imaging Center at HHMI Janelia Research Campus.

NIH funds high resolution confocal microscope

The first NIH S10 application in SU history provides funding to purchase the new Zeiss LSM980 with Airyscan2 technology. The confocal microscope is on order and will be available for researchers by the end of December 2020.
