I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and I received my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Mount Saint Mary College and my Master's degree in English on the Comparative Literature track from Long Island University Brooklyn Campus. My research interests include critical race theory, writing pedagogy, basic and first year writing, and writing program administration.
