The College of Arts and Sciences (A&S) advancement office is pleased to announce the addition of Ben Delmarsh ’22 as its new assistant director of development. Delmarsh will work closely with alumni donors and University colleagues to help A&S develop innovative philanthropic resources to support enhanced financial aid, experiential learning opportunities and faculty excellence.

“Ben is a great addition to our team,” says John Quigley, assistant dean for advancement in A&S. “His entrepreneurial spirit will be an asset as he seeks to creatively and meaningfully engage with even more of our passionate and caring A&S alumni.”

Prior to joining the A&S advancement team, Delmarsh worked for Zorse Cyber, an email and web security firm, where he was a sales and marketing strategist responsible for conducting sales calls, creating email campaigns and managing customer relationships.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to engage with alumni who believe in this University’s prestige, not only in academics, but in its vital contributions to all areas of life,” says Delmarsh.

During his time as a student at Syracuse, Delmarsh studied Communication and Rhetorical Studies in the College of Visual and Performing Arts (VPA) and served as a mentor in the Blackstone Launchpad where he helped nurture and develop aspiring entrepreneurs. He also founded SYRAZY, a clothing manufacturing company which pivoted to owning and operating limousines.

Delmarsh started Tuesday, February 6.
