Welcome to the online version of the Fall 2012 Arts and Sciences Magazine, an annual publication of Syracuse University's College of Arts and Sciences. The cover story, "The Science Behind our Changing Climate," highlights the research in which climate scientists in The College of Arts and Sciences are engaged with their national and international colleagues to study and find solutions for the global effects of climate change on plants, animals, and people.

The magazine also features stories about our outstanding alumni, students, and faculty. Their scholarship, research, service, and enterprise are having an enduring impact on issues that are of critical importance to our local communities, our nation, and countries across the globe.
