Arda is a Ph.D. student in English focusing on Arab and Muslim LGBTQ archives and the creative use of them by artists to create counterarchives and interventions in dominant narratives of history and Western liberalisms. They are also interested in the ways in which these archives and their artistic reinterpretations become legible in contemporary global circuits.
