Jhon González-Lindarte is an M.A. candidate in Hispanic Studies at the Department of Languages, Literatures and Linguistics at Syracuse University. His research focuses on the literature of migration and borders. He has also collaborated on research of Latinex literature and Caribbean identity. González-Lindarte has a bachelor's degree in Journalism from the Central University of Venezuela, where he graduated with honors. He worked as a journalist for more than ten years in Venezuela and Colombia and continues to pursue his interests in journalistic chronicle and new journalism-style writing.
