Prior to attending Syracuse University, C.S. Rowlett received a B.A. in Religious Studies from the University of North Carolina at Asheville and a M.A. in Religious Studies from CU Boulder. His primary research interests include consumerism, celebrity, and digital technology. Specifically, his research analyzes how consumerism and celebrity culture have transformed religious imagination, expression, and practice in the neoliberal era. In his free time, he enjoys making music, cooking, and long cuddles with his cat, Mia.
