La Casita Cultural Center seeks proposals for Summer Visual Arts Residency
Competition deadline June 30, 2012
Onondaga County adult residents with strong personal and/or cultural connections to Latina/o or Latin American cultures, especially those of Latino/Latin American heritage, are encouraged to apply. Applicants must share an interest in motivating and inspiring local communities, especially local Latina/o children and youth.
Application information is available on the La Casita web site or by contacting La Casita at 315-443-1879 or email La Casita. Deadline for submissions is June 30, 2012. A jury composed of local artists and the director of La Casita will select three finalists who will be interviewed by jury members. The selected artist will be in residency at La Casita from Aug. 1 to 30, 2012.
