Edward is interested in idealist philosophy and 20th century literature. Particularly, his research focuses on using idealist philosophy (Hegelian and psychoanalytic) to understand representations of law, psychosis, and identity within the modernist novel in an attempt at foregrounding political potentiality. He has also done research in queer theory and film studies.
