Lauren Cooper (she/her) is a Ph.D. student at Syracuse University. She studies the long nineteenth-century in British literature, with a focus on gender and ecocriticism. She is interested in the different ways the natural world was conceived of and represented in literature throughout the long 19th century, with a particular emphasis on how ideas of nature intersect with gender.
