Lily Holloway (they/her) was raised on deep-fried mushrooms in Aotearoa, New Zealand and received their Bachelor of Arts(Hons) in English and Ancient History from the University of Auckland. Their poetry is often concerned with sexuality, gender, trauma, memory, and the body. Lily's first chapbook, 'a child in that alcove', was published in 2021 as a part of Auckland University Press' AUP New Poets 8. Their other work can be found in places such as Cordite, Peach Mag, Out Here: An Anthology of Takatāpui and LGBTQIA+ New Zealand Writers, and Ōrongohau | Best New Zealand Poems.
