Kathryn Bratt-Pfotenhauer is a poet with roots in Maryland, Belgium, Germany, and Ireland. She received a BA in Russian Language and Literature from Bryn Mawr College in 2020, where she was the 2019 and 2020 recipient of the Bain-Swiggett Poetry Prize as well as a poetry semifinalist in the 2017 St. Lawrence Book Award Contest. She served as the inaugural marketing intern at Copper Canyon Press in the fall of 2020. Her work focuses on inheritance and the intersection of carnality and the interior. Having had the good fortune of being widely published, Kathryn has had their work appear in Meridian, Grist, Memorious, Glass, and others.
