AMH alum Isaac Messina joins the team at the Walters Art Museum for summer work project in paintings conservation

Go Isaac Messina--one of our star alums from AMH. Isaac completed his B.A. and M.A. degrees in art history from our art history program. He is now at the Winterthur. Read on about his latest accomplishment Rising second-year graduate fellow Isaac Messina has joined the team at the Walters Art Museum in Baltimore for his summer work project in paintings conservation. Here he shows off one of his treatments of a late sixteenth-century painting of Saint Francis of Assisi attributed to the workshop of Annibale Carracci. If you are in the area on July 28 between 12:30 and 4:00 PM, you can visit him at the Conservation Window at the Walters, which is a space set up in the galleries that allows the public to interact with conservators as they work.
