ALUM SPOTLIGHT!  Congratulations to Art History alum Irene Garcia (B.A. '15, M.A. '17) for being appointed Curatorial Assistant at the Museo de Arte de Ponce in Puerto Rico.  Irene reflects upon her time studying in the Department of Art & Music Histories: "I’ve been meaning to let you know that I actually changed departments at the Museo de Arte de Ponce and am now the Curatorial Assistant here. I wanted to let you know that the preparation you all provided me has been essential to my success (in both positions) and I am very grateful to have such a strong foundation on which to build upon. I am reminded of all of you on a daily basis and I miss you all very much.”  Way to go Irene!  We are so proud of you!
