Our department faculty and students were showcased in a splashy article in the Daily Orange about Diwali celebrations organized by prof Romita Ray, the department chair in conjunction with her Fall course on the art and architecture of India. Professor Carol Babiracki who is also the director of the South Asia Center and Music History and Cultures major Haley Knapp were quoted extensively in the article. Happy Diwali!
