Grant and Research Support


Syracuse University’s Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP), located in Bowne Hall, Room 113, is the primary resource for research funding and fellowships. Executive Director Trish Lowney and her staff provide excellent advice and help for the application process through grant administration.  The OSP web site has a wealth of information about funding sources and processes.

NOTE: All government granting agencies and many private/non-profit granting agencies require that applications be submitted through the Office of Sponsored Programs. Faculty who submit applications to granting agencies that do not have this requirement may still receive help from OSP staff for the application and budgeting processes.
