Dear Friends,
This past year has been one of continued scholarly
momentum as The
College of Arts and Sciences has nurtured new areas of inquiry
at Syracuse University and facilitated student and faculty work
within and across the disciplines. We have seen a surge of interest
in The College, with applications for fall undergraduate programs
nearly doubling. And a remarkable array of 25 new tenured and
tenure-track professors has joined our dynamic faculty. For our
students, the diversity of opportunities for undergraduate internships,
collaborative research, and civic engagement has never been as
wide.
